2026 ABBA National Championships

In May 2026 ABBA held another great national championship with 6 days of tight competition and great fellowship with 37 bowlers and their directors, an increase of over 10% on last year, competing from 5 states. Club Tweed in Tweed Heads once again provided a great venue and excellent support and apart for the occasional downpour everything was excellent with many great games from bowlers new and old.

After 185 games across 11 competitions we have our results and have crowned our victors for 2026. The full list of results is in the link below (see the attachment) but the three big awards are as follows:

• Best Performed state was Queensland
• Best Performed Female was Victoria’s Jeanette Barret and her director Claire Baskett
• Best Performed Male was Western Australia’s Curtis Hawke and his director Howard Dickinson
